FAQ

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

What types of homes are best suited for this sauna?

Because our saunas can be easily assembled and disassembled, they’re ideal for homes with a backyard. If you live in an HOA-regulated community, we recommend checking with your HOA before purchasing.

Can one person set up and take down the sauna easily?

Yes! Our sauna is designed for easy setup and takedown by one person. However, you don’t need to disassemble it after each use. It’s built to be durable and weather-resistant, so you can leave it up in your backyard 24/7.

How much wood is needed for a one-hour sauna session?

This depends on factors like outdoor temperature, door openings, and your desired heat level. On average:

  • A full-hour session (three 20-minute rounds) requires 4-5 pieces of wood.
  • A single 20-minute session requires 2-3 pieces of wood.
Does the sauna need to be taken down in snowy conditions?

No, a few inches of snow won’t impact your sauna. Once you heat it up, the snow will melt off the top. However, if snowfall exceeds 4 inches, the roof may start to flex inward. This is intentional, and the structure will easily pop back into place. For areas expecting heavy snowfall, some users add a wooden support beam in the center to prevent collapse.

Do you ship outside of the continental U.S.?

Yes! We offer international and non-continental U.S. shipping, though additional shipping fees may apply.

How do I clean and maintain my sauna?

To keep your sauna in top condition:

  • Run it at a high heat at least once a week to help sanitize it.
  • Keep the ventilation openings clear to ensure proper airflow, both during and between uses.
How much wind can the sauna withstand?

Wind resistance depends on your setup:

  • On pavers, decks, or concrete: Use the included sandbags to weigh down your sauna. You can add extra sandbags or secure it to a permanent structure for additional stability. Placing bricks or pavers on the bottom "skirt" of the tent can also help in windy conditions.
  • On grass or dirt: Secure your sauna with the provided stakes. If you anticipate strong winds, you can upgrade to extra-long stakes or add sandbags for peace of mind.
  • In extreme weather (e.g., hurricanes): If a major storm is expected, we recommend disassembling your sauna. The process takes just a few minutes.
